Automatic addition of users into groups
After installation of plugin «Hierarchy» you will get the ability in Redmine to configure automatic entering the group for users with certain department and office. This is very convenient because you can configure these rules, and users will be automatically included into the projects or obtain the necessary global rights in Redmine.
Go to the menu Administration, then select menu item Groups/b>.
Open the required group for editing and select the tab Relations.
Add rules for getting users into groups, based on their positions and departments.
Run the procedure of full synchronization of users from Ldap at the top of the departments tree or procedure of rebuilding groups in the plugin settings, and rules you created will apply.
